- WGFD opens a three-month solicitation period for new landowner proposals which closes at the end of the year.
- Grant proposals, compliance documentation, work plans, and all associated proposal documentation are reviewed by the WGFD fiscal LIP coordinator for completeness.
- Proposals are forwarded first to the respective WGFD region for review and then to the LIP Award committee.

January - March |
- Review committee begins a 60-day review period of all landowner proposals where each proposal is ranked.

March |
- Final ranked proposals are reviewed by the WGFD budget committee.
|
|
April |
- Approved proposals are taken to the WGFD commission meeting for final approval.
|
|
May - July |
- Biologists will meet with successful landowners, finalize paperwork, and ensure that compliance documentation is in order.
- WGFD general accounting will review and submit a grant amendment including all successful proposals, compliance documentation, and additional paperwork to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) for approval.
- Once the FWS approves the project, landowners and WGFD will sign the grant agreement.

- Implementation of projects will begin each July 1 throughout the grant period.
- Species and habitat monitoring will be conducted annually; including pre- and post-treatment the first year, with annual inspections completed thereafter or at periods specified within the LIP Grant Agreement.
