The Chronic Wasting Disease Alliance (CWDA) and American Outdoor Productions (AOP) have partnered to provide a free, on-line chronic wasting disease (CWD) education video, reports the Wildlife Management Institute. Titled "Shedding Light on CWD," the video presents current and comprehensive status information on CWD and shows proper field-processing techniques for deer, elk and moose harvested in CWD-positive areas. Transportation of Carcasses Through Yellowstone National Park

To transport a carcass taken from a state where CWD exists through YNP certain conditions must be met. These are the conditions.

- Meat must be cut and wrapped, either commercially or privately

- Quarters or other portions of meat with no part of the spinal column or head attached

- Meat that has been boned out

- Clean (no meat or tissue attached) skull plates with antlers attached

- Antlers with no meat or tissue attached

- Upper canine teeth, also known as buglers, whistlers, or ivories

- Finished taxidermy heads

- ALL HUNTERS MUST OBTAIN A TRANSPORTATION PERMIT
