Joanie Vanderbeek from California got this nice trophy buck mule deer opening day near Baggs, Wyoming. This was her 1st big game animal ever. (Boy! Is she spoiled for life!) The mule deer came from hunt area 100, in the desert. Joanie and her boyfriend said they had a wonderful time hunting in Wyoming. They also hunted in Wyoming last year  for antelope. "Everyone in Wyoming from Game and Fish to everyone we met in the towns have been wonderfully nice and helpful," Joanie says. "Hopefully we'll see you next year."

We hope you come back, too! Great job Joanie!
