2011 WILD about O.R.E.O.
Youth Conservation Camp
July 31st - August 5th, 2011

Any Wyoming resident 14-17 years of age, with preference given to those who have not previously attended the camp, is eligible to apply. Interested applicants must return their application to the Wyoming Game and Fish Department in Cheyenne by 5 p.m. May 27, 2011.
Hands-on skill activities and other educational opportunities for all camp participants, regardless of physical ability or experience.
Canoeing, fly fishing, flycasting, outdoor survival, wilderness hike, first aid, wildlife photography, wildlife stewardship, wildlife watching, habitat education, compass and orienteering, rappelling, natural resource careers, shotgun, .22 rifle, archery, black powder rifles, quiz bowl, outdoor skills competition and much, much more all FREE and fun.


Come and enjoy Wyoming's great outdoors while participating in fun outdoor skills... all for FREE. Participate in the Whiskey Mountain Camp experience... learning life skills while enjoying Wyoming's wealth of wildlife. For more information contact:

The Youth Camp is held at Whiskey Mountain Wildlife Conservation Camp located near Trail Lake, approximately ten miles southeast of Dubois, Wyoming. The camp located on historic bighorn sheep winter range is situated on Torrey Creek about one mile from the Fitzpatrick Wilderness Trailhead. Camp participants live in assigned cabins with family style meals served in a main dining hall. Classes are held outdoors. Campers must furnish their own personal gear. Each camper will be required to make their own transportation arrangements.

July 31st - August 5th, 2011. Registration is 10 a.m. July 31st. Departure is 10 a.m. August 5th.
