The awards, which will be presented at the Expo '11 Awards Banquet, held during the Expo in Casper, will commemorate those who exemplify what the Expo stands for: skills, ethical and  responsible conduct in the outdoors, and wildlife stewardship.  The award winners are nominated by instructors, teachers, parents, mentors, civic leaders, and peers from the community of Wyoming's wildlife enthusiasts.  If you are interested in nominating a person for an award, please download and fill out the appropriate nomination form below.

  Contest for Wyoming students

• Youth Hunter Skills and Wildlife Stewardship
  Nominate a Wyoming youth who has demonstrated excellence in citizenship,       wildlife stewardship and ethical behavior while participating in hunting, shooting and outdoor-related activities.

• Youth Fishing Skills and Conservation Ethics
  Nominate a Wyoming youth who has demonstrated excellence in citizenship, fish and aquatic wildlife stewardship and ethical behavior while participating in fishing and outdoor-related activities. 

• Badger Award
  Nominate an individual or organization that has demonstrated exceptional
  examples of mentorship and friendship to persons with disabilities while
  participating in outdoor activities.

• Outdoor Skills and Wildlife Conservation Educator of the Year
  Nominate a Wyoming teacher or youth leader who has demonstrated excellence in citizenship, wildlife stewardship, and ethical behavior while educating youth in outdoor skills and wildlife conservation. 

• Wildlife Stewardship Award
  Nominate a Wyoming citizen who is recognized as a role model in keeping with the Expo's emphasis on "preserving the future of our hunting, fishing, and wildlife heritage by providing opportunities for people to learn the skills, safety, ethics, respect, and stewardship important in the conduct of outdoor pursuits."

The Industry Reclamation and Wildlife Stewardship Awards are awarded every year, but other awards may be given depending on nominations received.  If you feel there is an industry, government or community deserving an award, please nominate them.
