Fall 2012 & Spring 2013 Hunting Walk-in Areas
License Tables for 2012
Antelope and Elk Deer, Pheasant, Moose and Turkey Walk-in Area (WIA) is a tract of private land on which the Wyoming Game and Fish Department has leased rights for public hunting enjoyment. Public access to a WIAs limited to hunting only during the time period and only for the specific species of wildlife listed on the species tables. As the name states, public access to Walk-in Areas is restricted to foot traffic only, (please check species tables). Just walk right in. All WIAs will have signs posted to mark their boundaries. Cooperation from hunters using WIAs expected. Each hunter should review the WIA Rules prior to going into the field.
Remember to donate to Access Yes when you purchase a hunting license. Any amount donated goes directly to keeping access areas open and adding new hunting access areas. Without funding and participation from landowners, these areas are lost to the sportsmen.
