2009 Hunter Management Program                                   *The National Elk Refuge random draw permit results will be posted in your hunter profiles at 8 AM(MST) on Tuesday September 29th. Any party members who have NOT logged in and agreed to terms and conditions will be removed from the HMA permission slip drawing.   A Hunter Management Area (HMA) are parcels of land where the Wyoming Game & Fish Department facilitates management of hunters for access to hunt.  The area may refer solely to private lands or a combination of private, state trust land and federal land within ranch boundaries.  All hunters who wish to hunt these access areas must obtain written permission.  The hunter may obtain permission by following the instructions listed under "Methods of Applying" or applying on line. The hunter pays no fee for receiving permission for access for the specific times only. Please see the individual HMA Ranch Rules for additional information on the specific species, Hunt Area(s), and number of permission slips available.  Hunters who purchase an on-line or LSA hunting licenses DO NOT need to add the licenses to their hunting profile. These will be automatically added to the hunter profile one hour after purchase. Internet Hunter Areas    Please remember that each member of your hunting party MUST log in and "Agree to Terms and Conditions", to be included in party applications.                  APPLY for HMA permission slips     Hunters are responsible for reading the NER hunting information and regulations specific to your designated area.
