Climate Change Workshop
CHEYENNE-- Biologists, scientists, policy-makers, sportsmen and members of the media came together in Cheyenne on Monday, June 16 to learn more about climate change and how it could potentially affect Wyoming's resources.
The one-day workshop was designed to bring state and federal agencies together to learn more about the climate, resources that could be impacted, potential adaptation and carbon mitigration. The workshop concluded with a panel discussion by state and federal resource managers.
The climate change workshop was sponsored by the the U.S. Forest Services, the USFS Rocky Mountain Research Station and the Wyoming Departments of Agriculture, Game and Fish, Environmental Quality, State Parks and Cultural Resources, the Office of State Lands and Investments and Wyoming Travel and Tourism.
